Leon Beale | Founder and Managing Director
Leon Beale’s twenty-three years of experience in the financial services industry have encompassed a broad range of roles from Actuary to Regional Vice President and provided him with an unusually broad base and blend of experience from which to diagnose and remedy a company’s problems.
Leon has enjoyed leadership roles associated with all key insurance distribution channels including IFA, Banc assurance, Group Risk and Direct Marketing and has had responsibilities and oversight covering New Zealand, Australia, Japan and 10 Asian country markets. Employers have included Prudential [UK], Tower Life [NZ], CommInsure, Citigroup and MetLife. He has had extensive hands-on experience in Asia and has a deep network of contacts and business partners. Senior level positions he has held include MD of MetLife Services [Singapore], VP and Regional Head of Affiliate/Reinsurance business as well as Representative Director for MDC Japan – all with full profit & loss accountabilities.
Leon has recently relocated back to Sydney with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys traveling, running, pop culture and spending time with the family. Leon has made a late start at Taekwondo, recently obtaining his yellow belt.
